Ingredients
  

  • 2 red or green apples sliced into wedges
  • ½ cup peanut butter or sunflower seed butter
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds or slivered almonds
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice optional, to prevent browning

Method
 

  1. Slice apples into wedges and brush with lemon juice if desired.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one side of each apple slice.
  3. Press sunflower seeds into peanut butter along edge to look like teeth.
  4. Sandwich two apple slices together, peanut butter sides facing in.
  5. Stick candy eyes on top with a dab of peanut butter.
