Rich, garlicky, and comforting — this creamy beef and garlic butter pasta is perfect for any night. Tender beef, silky sauce, and full flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

10 ounces pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)

1 pound sirloin steak or ground beef

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

½ teaspoon onion powder

Optional: red pepper flakes

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. If using steak, slice it thinly against the grain. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef, season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

3. Lower the heat to medium. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

4. Stir in heavy cream. Simmer gently, then whisk in parmesan until melted and smooth.

5. Return cooked beef to the pan. Add pasta and toss everything together. Use pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.

6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ground beef for a quicker, more budget-friendly version.

Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra texture and flavor.

Swap parmesan for pecorino or asiago for a twist.
