- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for basting)
Instructions

Prepare the Steaks:
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cook the Steaks:
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness.

Optional Basting:
- Add butter to the skillet and spoon it over the steaks during the last minute of cooking.

Rest and Serve:
- Remove steaks from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
