Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken breast, cubed

2 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp paprika (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated

8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup water.

2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

3. Heat oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

4. Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet. Cook until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer. Gradually whisk in parmesan until smooth.

6. Add cooked pasta and reserved water if needed. Toss to coat.

7. Return chicken to skillet and mix everything together.

8. Serve hot, topped with parsley and more parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.

Add red pepper flakes or lemon zest for extra flavor.

Store leftovers up to 3 days. Reheat gently with added cream.
