Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional
  • Orange and purple icing Halloween sprinkles, candy eyes (for decoration)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  8. Bake 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool completely before decorating.
  10. Drizzle icing, add sprinkles and candy eyes, then slice and serve.
