Ingredients

  • 8 fresh jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • Candy eyes or small pieces of black olives

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with cheese mixture.
  4. Cut crescent roll dough into thin strips. Wrap strips around jalapeños, leaving space for “eyes.”
  5. Place stuffed jalapeños on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  8. Add candy eyes before serving.

Notes

  • Use gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.
  • Substitute mini sweet peppers for a milder version.
  • Serve with ranch or salsa for dipping.
