- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine (or more chicken broth)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add chicken broth, white wine, and lemon juice. Stir, bringing the sauce to a simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce until well-coated.
- Add cooked pasta to the pan, tossing everything together.
- Serve with fresh parsley and extra lemon wedges. Enjoy!
