Description
A rich and hearty one pot creamy beef and garlic butter pasta that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Made with savory ground beef, garlic, and a silky parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
4 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Stir in pasta and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
5. Uncover and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and butter.
6. Simmer uncovered for 2–3 more minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can stir in a handful of spinach or mushrooms with the pasta.
If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of broth or milk.
