- 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
- 8 slider buns
- 4 oz provolone or American cheese slices
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions (and bell pepper, if using) and cook until soft.
- Add the sliced steak to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce (if using).
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the cooked steak mixture on the buns, then top with cheese slices.
- Place the top buns on and brush with a little melted butter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
