Spooky Samosas – Crispy Halloween Party Appetizer

These Spooky Samosas are the perfect Halloween finger food—crispy on the outside, warm and spiced on the inside, and shaped into fun festive designs like ghosts, pumpkins, or triangles with spooky faces. Whether baked or fried, they’re filled with a savory potato and pea filling seasoned with cumin, garlic, and garam masala.

I made these last Halloween for a themed dinner, and they were the first dish to disappear. Not only are they delicious, but the playful shapes make them extra fun for kids and adults alike. You can use store-bought samosa wrappers or even puff pastry if you’re short on time.

Serve them with spooky green chutney or a tangy tomato dipping sauce. Add edible eyes, carve creepy faces, or make them mini-sized for party platters. These samosas can be made in advance and frozen, so you’re never scrambling last minute.

Whether you’re hosting a costume party or just want to surprise the family with a fun Halloween dinner, spooky samosas deliver the crunch, spice, and Halloween spirit—all in one bite.
